“For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.”1 Corinthians 2:2
Our confession
The truth we receive and announce
These convictions are not intended to replace Scripture. They are a clear statement of how we understand the essential truths the Bible teaches.
We confess a historical, Christocentric and biblical faith. In the essential doctrines we seek firmness; in secondary matters, humility and love. Our unity does not depend on absolute uniformity, but on the truth of the gospel and our union with Christ.

Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, true, sufficient, and authoritative. The Holy Spirit spoke through human authors, and Scripture is our final standard for faith, teaching, and life.
Biblical Basis:
Psalm 19:7–11; Psalm 119:105; Isaiah 55:10–11; Matthew 5:17–18; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21.
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are equal in essence and fully divine. We reject both the idea of three gods and the idea of a God who only changes his mode or appearance.
Biblical Basis:
Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5–6; Matthew 3:16–17; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–3, 14; John 10:30; Acts 5:3–4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4–6.
We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally God and truly man. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily, and is the only Savior. His resurrection is a historical reality and the center of our hope.
Biblical Basis:
John 1:1–3, 14; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23–26; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8, 20; Philippians 2:5–11; Colossians 1:15–20; Hebrews 1:1–4; 1 Peter 2:22.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. He convinces, regenerates, inhabits, seals, guides, transforms, and intercedes for those who belong to Christ. The Christian life depends on His presence and power.
Biblical Basis:
Genesis 1:2; John 3:5–8; John 14:16–17, 26; John 16:13–14; Acts 5:3–4; Romans 8:9–16, 26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22–25; Ephesians 1:13–14.
We believe that every person was created in the image of God and possesses dignity. However, sin has deeply affected all of humanity: we are separated from God and cannot redeem ourselves on our own merits.
We believe that salvation is only by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by works. Christ did all that was necessary. The new birth is the work of the Holy Spirit and produces a life that begins to be transformed.
Biblical Basis:
John 3:3–18; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:21–26; Romans 5:1, 6–11; Romans 10:9–13; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:3–7; 1 Peter 1:3–5.
We believe that the Church is Christ's redeemed people, his body, made up of believers from every nation and not limited to one denomination. Believers are to congregate in a community centered on Christ and subject to the Word.
We believe that believer's baptism is an act of obedience and public witness; it is not the cause of salvation. We celebrate the Lord's Supper with reverence as a memorial and proclamation of Christ's work.
Biblical Basis:
Matthew 28:19–20; Luke 22:19–20; Acts 2:38–42; Acts 8:36–38; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 10:16–17; 1 Corinthians 11:23–29.
We believe that the Holy Spirit gives gifts to serve and build up the body of Christ. No gift was given to exalt the individual. Everything must be exercised with love, order, humility, and biblical faithfulness.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return, that all will rise, and that God will judge with perfect righteousness. Those who are in Christ will live eternally with Him; those who reject Him remain eternally separated from God.
Biblical Basis:
John 5:28–29; John 14:1–3; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Corinthians 15:20–26, 51–58; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Titus 2:11–14; Revelation 20:11–15; Revelation 22:12, 20.
In essence, we stand firm-the authority of Scripture, the triune God, the person and work of Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and the regenerating work of the Spirit. In secondary matters we practice humility, patience, and love.
Biblical Basis:
John 13:34–35; John 17:20–23; Romans 14:1–13; 1 Corinthians 1:10–13; 1 Corinthians 13; Ephesians 4:1–6; Philippians 2:1–5; Jude 3.
We believe that those who have been united to Christ are called to grow in holiness, obedience, and love. This transformation does not buy salvation: it springs from the grace received and is the continuous work of the Holy Spirit through the Word.
